Our Love Story
Like a symphony, our hearts beat in perfect harmony, each note renewing our souls with the promise of eternal joy. In dark moments, our shared confession became a fortress, our safe haven a light that never waned. Our love remains our compass, guiding us ever forward, never to look back.
HOW WE MET
Emmanuel
Our story began during Luvvy’s freshman registration in 2015. I introduced myself as the Director of Academics at the time. Although our conversation was brief, her name “Love” stuck with me.
After that day, we did not cross paths again for a while. I kept looking out for a “Love” in the 0’15 Computer Engineering class.
Two years later, I met her again in the computer lab and found out she was from Cross River. She left a strong impression on me then, and an even stronger one when I saw her ushering at a lecturer’s wedding.
Love
My first vivid memory of Emmanuel was also at the computer lab. Later, we met again at a lecturer’s wedding where I was ushering. But the most interesting encounter which I would mark as the beginning of our friendship, was at the Engineering Faculty building. My friend, Chi seemed to hold him in high regard, and I thought to myself — ”he must be a good person”.
The weirdest part of that meeting? He asked for my Facebook username. I thought, Seriously? You could ask for my number, but Facebook? Lol.
